What's it like being a Sora Program student?
Sora Program blends structure and freedom, more like college than a typical in-person middle school. Students start their day with small group homerooms, then enjoy a blend of engaging live classes and independent work.
Live online classes
Focused, real-time instruction in small groups with expert teachers—built around discussion, exploration, and engagement.
Independent blocks
Dedicated time for students to prepare for upcoming classes, receive support, and work on their class projects.
Daily advisory
Daily connection with a dedicated advisor and peers to build community, reflect, and get support. The advisor is your family's daily point of contact for any questions or concerns.
Office hours
Students can access daily office hours for any support and are always welcome to message or email their teachers or advisors.
Your week, reimagined
Our daily schedule is designed to give your student structure without compromising flexibility or independent focus time. Here’s a sample of what a typical week might look like.
Stay connected locally
Relationships are the core of this program. In addition to the deep friendships built online, students maintain a strong connection to their Classical Academies home campus, including its activities, events, sports, field trips, and more.
